Unlike the common “leather belt”, Coronado Holster Belts are designed and built to withstand the weight of a handgun while retaining classic good looks and attention to detail. These are not your average belts. We start with a sturdy 7oz. Latigo leather for the backing. The Latigo is superior due to its flexibility and temper over the average vegetable tanned leathers most commonly used. Our Latigo has more oils and waxes that will prevent the leather from cracking and splitting with perspiration and moisture, something that will happen with vegetable tanned leathers if not treated regularly.
